Advantages of Using Vegetable Oil as Fuel

1. One of the biggest advantages of using vegetable oil is the fact that oil is a renewable energy source.

There are many good sources of vegetable oil SVO and WVO. Renewable sources means that we do not have to worry about the occurrence of future crises.

2. Vegetable oil is a source of clean energy because it produces less pollution than gasoline and diesel. That's because, the use of vegetable oils have the support of many environmental activists.

3. Vehicle fuel with vegetable oils have a much greater distances than working with fuel. Mileage further means more fuel efficient while reducing costs.

4. Vegetable oil can be produced locally, thereby reducing dependence on foreign oil.

5. Vegetable oil is safe to use because it is more difficult to burn when the vehicle crashed.

6. Vegetable oil to lubricate the machine is much more effective, which in turn helps reduce the cost of maintenance.

Disadvantages of Using Vegetable Oil as Fuel

1. The biggest challenge using vegetable oil as fuel is a great machine modification costs.

As is known, conventional engines must be modified in order to be able to use vegetable oil fuel.

2. Vegetable oils can affect the performance of the engine if the conversion is not done correctly. Engine performance down means requires high maintenance costs.

3. Currently, manufacturers of motor vehicles generally only give the engine warranty only if the fuel is used as fuel. This condition will be difficult for consumers as the result of the modification is no longer guaranteed by the manufacturer's warranty.

4. The machine that uses vegetable oil known to be difficult when the weather turned too cold. It is certainly difficult for people who live in an area with four seasons.
