Knowing Brief History of Ford Model T

Ford Model T (also known as the Tin Lizzie, FLiwer, T-Model Ford, or T) is a car produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1908 to 1927.

Model T set 1908 as the historic year for them.

Ford Model T is regarded as the first affordable car for the general public.

This is partly made possible after the introduction of modern assembly system, instead of using the assembly is done manually.

This car was designed by Childe Harold Wills and two Hungarian immigrant, Joseph A. Galamb and Eugene Farkas. Other members of the design team is Henry Love, CJ Smith, Gus Degner and Peter E. Martin.

Model T was first produced on August 12, 1908 at the Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan and went on sale on 27 September 1908.

On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company witnessed the Model T to-15 million were produced from the factory.

Model T was the first automobile mass produced using modern assembly aimed and targeted middle-class Americans.

Before the Ford Model T, Henry Ford had made several prototypes but never mass produced. Total prototype amounted to 19 and named according to the letters of the alphabet A to T.

The model was made before the Model T was the Model S which is an upgrade of the Model N. Interestingly, the version after the Model T was named Model A is not the Model U.

Ford Model T was selected as the most influential car of the 20th century in an international poll. In response to this Henry Ford said:

"I would like to make a car with a lot of functions. This car should be large enough to accommodate all the family members, but at a cost affordable care.

This car must be made of the best materials, assembled by the best people after going through the design and modern design.

However, these cars must remain affordable, so people with middle incomes can have it. "
